Jazan University, represented by the Deanship of Admission and Registration, has announced the opening dates for the electronic portal to receive applications for admission to the university for the academic year 1445 AH, for bachelor’s and diploma degrees.
The Dean of Admission and Registration at the University, Dr. Ahmed bin Yahya Faqihi, stated that the electronic portal will open on Sunday 12/28/1444 AH and close on Saturday 01/04/1445 AH. The initial announcement will be on Saturday 01/11/1445 AH, while the final announcement of admission will be “obtaining the university number” on Sunday 01/12/1445 AH, which corresponds to the beginning of the period for adjusting admission to vacant seats electronically, and the period for amending admission to vacant seats electronically will end on Tuesday 01 14/1445 AH.
Fakihi indicated that the qualified percentage for admission to health, scientific and engineering majors will be calculated according to the percentages: (30% cumulative average for high school, 30% general abilities test, and 40% achievement test), and calculating the weighted percentage for admission to theoretical majors according to the equation (50). % cumulative average for high school, and 50% aptitude test), and the results of the aptitude and achievement tests for applicants will be updated automatically through the university’s website for those who have a request for admission to the university without the need to review the Deanship of Admission and Registration until the date of closing the electronic admission portal, and it will not consider any degree after the application portal closes.
It is noteworthy that the university has allocated a team to respond to admission inquiries and help solve all difficulties that male and female students may face through the technical support system on the admission portal.
