Yesterday (Tuesday), the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation launched eight free technical summer clubs for young men and women under the slogan Towards a Creative Technical Summer 2023, in a number of regions and governorates of the Kingdom, to develop technical and vocational skills. This initiative coincides with the World Youth Skills Day, which falls on the 15th of July, to promote the concept of lifelong training, and give them the skills necessary to start entrepreneurship.
Abdullah Al-Duhailan, Director General of Activities at the Foundation, said that these summer clubs aim to activate social responsibility by spreading the culture of technical and vocational training in society, discovering and refining the skills and talents of young men and women, and investing their energies in useful programs and events during the summer vacation.
Al-Duhailan added that the eight technical summer clubs that offer their courses and activities for free have been distributed to a number of regions and governorates, namely: the Applied College in Riyadh, the Technical College in Al-Kharj, the Technical College in Abha, the Technical College for Girls in Khamis Mushait, the Technical College in Madinah, the Technical College in Qatif, the Administration The Public School in Al-Jouf, and the Foundation Club in Riyadh, with various and qualitative programs and events to hone the skills of young men and women.
