The Criminal Court in Abha sentenced a citizen to 25 years in prison for convicting him of distributing 25 pills of the banned psychotropic amphetamine pills for the second time for the purpose of selling, and for possessing 25 pills of the same substance with the intention of trafficking, and covering up the source of the seized narcotics.
The court also prohibited the accused from traveling outside the Kingdom for a period of 25 years after the expiration of his prison term, and fined him an amount of 150,000 riyals, taken from him and deposited in the state’s public treasury, and confiscated his mobile phone and the car that was used in the promotion and trafficking process.
