The Advisor at the Royal Court, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, delivered a speech today (Thursday) in Nairobi at the ministerial meeting of the Executive Council of Foreign Ministers of the African Union.

He pointed out that this meeting is a translation of the fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom and Africa, and in particular the support announced by all African leaders for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host Expo 2030, and the important partnership that will contribute to the success of the first Saudi-African summit and the fifth Arab-African summit, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year 2023. .
He pointed out the Kingdom’s aspiration to achieve its Vision 2030 with more regular periodic events aimed at strengthening the frameworks of real development forces in which the Kingdom and the countries of the African continent have worked since 1975 as partners through the projects of the Saudi Fund for Development and other financing agencies in the Kingdom, expressing the Kingdom’s hope during the time period. Coming to work with all African countries to achieve their development goals in accordance with United Nations Resolutions No. 60/1 of 2005 to promote development and investment in the African continent, through the Kingdom’s vision to achieve this.
Kattan said: The Kingdom is the first country to support the implementation of the African Agenda 2063 through huge development projects, stressing that this agenda reflects the extent of convergence and cooperation between the Saudi Visions 2030 and the African 2063.
He also referred to the announcement by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom’s official application to run to host the city of Riyadh for Expo 2030.
