Today (Saturday), the Israeli army fired tear gas at a delegation of media professionals, accompanied by a member of the Parliamentary Development and Liberation Bloc (Nabih Berri’s bloc), Qassem Hashem, in the Shebaa Farms area in southern Lebanon.
International media reported that there are cases of suffocation among the media professionals, most of whom are loyal to Hezbollah, noting that the Israeli forces are calling on the Lebanese to leave the place, despite their presence behind the so-called withdrawal line in the Shebaa Farms in southern Lebanon.
Representative Qassem Hashem said, “There are no red lines in front of the occupied parts of the Lebanese territories,” stressing that it is their right as Lebanese to reach any spot in the Kfar Shuba hills and the Shebaa farms, and that what we are exposed to is normal, because this is the Israeli aggressive nature, according to him.
For its part, the Israeli army said that our forces expelled a group of Lebanese citizens who tried to cross the Blue Line in the Shebaa Farms area, explaining that its forces opened fire to disperse demonstrators who crossed the Blue Line from Lebanon.
