The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh announced that, starting tomorrow (Wednesday), visa stickers will be canceled in the passports of all kinds of Yemenis coming to Saudi Arabia.
The embassy indicated in a tweet via its Twitter account that it had obtained a copy of a circular issued by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, in which it instructed the authority to allow all airlines to transport travelers coming to Saudi Arabia to enter citizens of a number of countries, including Yemeni citizens, without the presence of visa stickers (work, visit, residence) that are placed in the embassies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia abroad to complete the procedures for coming to Saudi Arabia on a regular basis.
The embassy indicated that after canceling the visa stickers, the validity of the visa will be confirmed via the QR code printed on an A4 sheet that contains all the traveler’s visa information.
