The Public Transport Authority confirmed that the remaining period for the corrective period to start applying the new identity for vehicles used in the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles will end after 60 days, as the authority aims through it to develop services provided to beneficiaries, and enhance safety requirements during transportation operations.
The authority announced the details of this identity in November 2022, and it includes the unified color, marks and data required to be placed on vehicles operating in the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles in the Kingdom, with the exception of a “period of one year” for holders of valid operating cards, and before the date of the actual application of the new identity.
It called on establishments and individuals working in the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles to visit its website (tga.gov.sa) and view the regulations governing the activity and more details about that, and for inquiries or submission of observations, the authority made it possible to communicate directly through the unified number: 19929
